I am a 4th year resident in neurological surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. My interests are primarily neuro-oncological surgery and deep brain stimulation. I am particularly interested in future applications of deep brain stimulation for illnesses that have been traditionally considered psychiatric, such as depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. My interests outside the hospital include music and theater; I play piano, violin, and sing alto whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy hiking in the beautiful North Carolina weather, especially since I am originally from Ohio!
